Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of job placement, work experience, and workload on the performance of Civil Servants (PNS) at the Education and Culture Office of Tegal City. Employee performance is a crucial factor in supporting organizational effectiveness; however, various issues are still encountered, such as low work discipline, mismatches between educational background and job positions, relatively short work experience, and high workload. This study adopts a quantitative approach using a survey technique. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to all employees as respondents and evaluated using multiple linear regression analysis. The findings of this study indicate that, individually, job placement does not affect employee performance, whereas work experience and workload positively impact employee performance. Simultaneously, job placement, work experience, and workload have a significant effect on the performance of Civil Servants at the Education and Culture Office of Tegal City. This study is expected to contribute to the advancement of human resource management and serve as a practical reference for institutions in improving employee performance through effective job placement, the development of work experience, and proportional workload management.
