Abstract

This research purposes to analyze the influence of workload and job satisfaction on Turnover Intention among Gen Z employees working at Coffee Shops in Bandar Lampung. This study uses a quantitative methodology, gathering data from 130 respondents using a questionnaire. Multiple linear regression was used to analyse the data with the aid of SPSS 25. The findings show that work load has a positive and significant impact on Turnover Intention, while job satisfaction has a negative and significant impact on Turnover Intention. Simultaneously, both variables significantly influence Turnover Intention with a coefficient of determination of 0.699. These results show that excessive workload can increase employees’ desire to leave the profession, whereas high job satisfaction can reduce that desire. The summary of this research underscores the importance of workload management and enhancing job satisfaction to reduce Turnover Intention levels among Gen Z employees in the Coffee Shop sector.
