PERAN KOMPETENSI DALAM MEMEDIASI PENGARUH PENGALAMAN MAGANG TERHADAP KESIAPAN KERJA MAHASISWA AKHIR PERGURUAN TINGGI KABUPATEN GARUT

Abstract

This study aimed to examine the effect of this study is to analyze the Effect of Internship Experience on Job Readiness with Competence as a Mediating Variable on Final College Students in Garut Regency. A quantitative descriptive was implemented, involving a population consisting of all final college students in Garut Regency and the sample taken is 100 people. Sample selection was carried out using a non-probability sampling technique. The respondent criteria comprised final college students who participated in internships from colleges that have "Very Good" accreditation, that is Garut University, Indonesian Institute of Education, and Garut Institute of Technology. Data were gathered through questionnaires with a Likert scale. PLS-SEM method was applied with SmartPLS 4.0 software. The findings of this investigate indicate that internship experience influences the Job Readiness of final college students in Garut Regency, internship experience influences competency in final college students in Garut Regency, competency has an influence on the Job Readiness of final college students in Garut Regency, and internship experience influences Job Readiness through competency as a Mediating Variable on final college students in Garut Regency
