This study aims to examine the dynamics of employee well-being (EWB) among employees experiencing job enlargement in mix market industries. The phenomenon arises from demands for efficiency and work flexibility, which expand employee competencies but also increase workload and psychological pressure. Using a qualitative method, four participants were selected through purposive sampling based on at least six months of job enlargement experience. Data were collected through in-depth interviews and analyzed using narrative thematic analysis. The findings show that job enlargement produces both positive and negative impacts on EWB. In the life well-being dimension, some employees gained new knowledge and greater work meaning, while others experienced fatigue and reduced motivation. In the psychological well-being dimension, learning capacity and pride increased, yet excessive tasks limited self-development. In the workplace well-being dimension, communication between supervisors and subordinates was perceived as unclear, although coworker relationships remained positive. The study emphasizes the importance of managerial support, open communication, and fair reward systems.
