This study aims to examine the concept of coastal eco-resilience through community empowerment in Simpang Tiga Jaya Village, with a focus on the implementation of integrated mangrove restoration based on technological innovation. The coastal area of Simpang Tiga Jaya Village is an area with a high level of vulnerability to coastal abrasion, environmental pollution, and the impacts of climate change that threaten the sustainability of the ecosystem and the livelihoods of coastal communities. This study was conducted to find an effective empowerment model in building ecological, social, and economic resilience through collaboration between the community, academics, and local government. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive method with a participatory approach (Participatory Action Research). Data were collected through field observations, in-depth interviews with community leaders, fishermen groups, and village officials, and documentation of mangrove restoration activities. Data analysis was carried out interactively through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions to obtain a comprehensive picture of the effectiveness of the implemented innovations. There are three main innovations implemented in this study, namely mangrove planting using gelam wood as stakes (seedling supports), the development of communal waste sorting places and the design of a simple coastal disaster early detection tool. The research results show that integrating technological innovation with a community empowerment approach significantly improves the eco-resilience of coastal areas. Communities demonstrated increased environmental awareness, active participation in preserving mangroves, and increased adaptability to climate change. Therefore, this technological innovation-based Coastal Eco-Resilience model can serve as a strategic model for developing climate mitigation policies and sustainable coastal management in other regions in Indonesia.
