The present inquiry was orchestrated to scrutinize the ramifications of employee engagement alongside work–life equilibrium upon the vocational performance of personnel employed within Unilever’s distributive enterprise in Garut Regency. A causal–quantitative schema was espoused as the analytical framework. The research populace encompassed the entirety of distribution staff in the designated locale, whose precise magnitude was regarded as indeterminate. By means of Lemeshow’s formula, a cohort of 100 respondents was delineated through purposive sampling, with research instruments disseminated both in person and virtually via Google Form. Data curation and examination were executed employing SEM–PLS with the SmartPLS 3 apparatus, designed to interrogate construct validity, measurement reliability, and inter-variable associations. Analytical outcomes illuminated that both engagement and the calibration of occupational–personal life exert a salutary and statistically consequential effect on employees’ performance. These findings accentuate the imperative of fostering engagement and harmonizing work–life dimensions as cardinal levers of productivity, particularly within distributive sectors where temporal precision and operational constancy are indispensable. Consequently, enterprises are urged to intensify initiatives for cultivating engagement through training, recognition, and empowerment schemes, while simultaneously instituting work–life balance policies conducive to employees’ enduring well-being.
