This study aims to determine how the implementation of E-Government at the Population and Civil Registration Office of Sinjai Regency, which is one of the SKPD within the Sinjai Regency Government that implements the application of E-Government in every service to the community. E-Government at the Population and Civil Registration Office of Sinjai Regency through the website https://dukcapil.sinjaikab.go.id/ has been implemented but has not been optimal for all sub-districts in Sinjai Regency. Only a few sub-districts in Sinjai Regency have succeeded in implementing e-government and more sub-districts have not been able to implement e-government due to limited knowledge and constrained by several factors. Therefore, this study aims to measure how good public services are with the implementation of e-Government, as well as to identify the challenges and opportunities faced in the implementation of e-Government in the public service sector, especially at the Population and Civil Registration Office of Sinjai Regency. The type of research used in this study is descriptive qualitative research with a purposive sampling approach. Research on e-government implementation at the Population and Civil Registration Office (Disdukcapil) of Sinjai Regency shows that this implementation has had a positive impact, especially on service productivity and efficiency. Disdukcapil has succeeded in increasing service throughput, accelerating document processing times, and reducing operational costs and paper usage through digitization. Various information products disseminated through social media and the official website (https://dukcapil.sinjaikab.go.id/) also support information transparency and ease of access for the public. However, the effectiveness of this e-government implementation still faces significant challenges that have not been fully achieved due to challenges in achieving equitable user satisfaction, strengthening the capacity for independent technology adaptation, and planning proactive system development that have not been optimal.
